Senior Director Ir. Tan Yean Chin has been re-appointed by the Minister of Works, Malaysia as Board Member of the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM) for the year 2013/2014.

Senior Director Ir. Tan Yean Chin has been appointed by the Minister of Works, Malaysia on 17 June 2013 as a Member of Expert Panel to Review Malaysian Construction Industry Practices.
Senior Director Ir. Tan Yean Chin presented his keynote lecture titled “Ground Treatment Design for 200km Electrified Double Tracks Railway Project at Northern Peninsular Malaysia” at Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan – XVI (16th Indonesia Annual Scientific Meeting “Geotechnical Challegnes in Present and Coming Nationwide Construction Actitivies”), Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, Indonesia, 4-5 December 2012.
CEO of G&P Professionals Sdn Bhd, Ir. Dr. Gue See Sew was invited by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the APEC Engineer Registering Committee (Russia) and the Russian Association for Engineering Education (RAEE) to present a paper on APEC Engineers titled “APEC Engineering Register, Challenges And The Way Forward To Promote Mobility Of Engineering Services” at the Seminar on Development of Engineering Professionals in APEC Economies in Kazan, Russia. The seminar was held concurrently with the APEC Senior Officials Meeting.
The Board of Graduate Studies of University of Cambridge have agreed to confer the PhD Degree to G&P Geotechnics Sdn Bhd’s engineer, Mr Gue Chang Shin and the convocation for the conferment is on 21 July 2012. Congratulation from all of us!
