GEMS is a subscription-based web application that offers a comprehensive Geotechnical Engineering Monitoring System (GEMS) to de-risk underground construction projects through daily data updates and automated alerts. This platform is designed to provide clarity from scattered data, reduce manual man-hours, and prevent costly, potentially disastrous issues through early detection.

- Daily Updates & Monitoring : GEMS ensures that all stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and project managers, have access to up-to-date information. Site data is updated daily, enabling immediate action to be taken if anomalies are detected, preventing situations like unaddressed piling issues that could lead to structural failure.
- Automated Alert System: The system allows for setting specific limits (alert, alarm, action) for various parameters (p. 15). If a measurement, such as a constructed pile length being shorter than expected, falls outside the set range, an immediate email alert is sent to all key personnel. This helps in identifying potential issues before they become major problems, a significant improvement over traditional methods where warning signs might be missed.

- Enhanced Project Management: The platform replaces handwritten logs and disconnected communication methods (like WhatsApp chats and excel sheets) with a unified digital platform, streamlining progress updates and reducing reporting lags. This allows for better decision-making based on structured, traceable data.
- Customization and Usability: Each project will be customized, so users (all stakeholders) do not need to do setting up, programming and handle the initial setup. Additionally, the top-left logo can be customized to the consultant’s, client’s, or project’s logo. The service is available for overseas projects (still charged in Malaysian Ringgit), and includes online trainings for all users.
- For Progress Meeting Reporting and Submission to Client & Authority: Progress updates (e.g. % for each work) from GEMS will allow all stakeholders to keep track of progress dailyand can be printed out by contractors for weekly site progress meetings and monthly progress reports. Detailed information regarding geotechnical works (e.g. piling, pilecaps, and I&M results) can be easily extracted by consultants for submission to authorities or clients.

GEMS offers tiered subscription plans to suit different project needs:
- Quartz Plan: Essential plan for single site activities (e.g., Piling Works & Pilecaps), including one interactive map, daily updates, progress dashboard, and multi-user access for RM 5000 per month/per project.
- Sapphire Plan: Advanced plan for up to three parallel site activities, including all Quartz features plus cross-tab interactive maps and multi-activity progress dashboard for RM 8000 per month/per project.
- Diamond Plan: A premium, customizable plan for complex projects requiring bespoke layouts, features, and API integration. Pricing is available upon consultation.
